A big thank you again to all who attended this event and the girls of Lowestoft Spiritual Centre who gave their time in helping run this day.  We would also again like to thank the Lowestoft Football club for donating their hall for free and being there to help, Thanks guys.  And of course to John Conway who brought his own brand of mediumship and  it was a delight to watch him give messages, we hope to welcome him back in the near future.

The final figures are in and after deductibles for advertising and other sundries we were left with £400 !!!!!!  Another fantastic result.  The money is being divided between Alzheimers and Help an East Coast Child .

We as a group and community decided to help Pets Corner to make their premises more secure after the devastating vandalism that took place earlier in the year.  Raffle prizes were donated  through Provident Loans, from Focus DIY. This raffle raised £100!! for Pets Corner

Our next big event is our Mind Body and Spirit day which will have new and different stalls.  we hope we have as good a response as we did in February, and of course all profits from this event will go to charity, so come and join us for another great day at the Football Club on the 12th July 2009.

MIND BODY & SPIRIT FAYRE
22nd FEBRUARY 2009

We would like to send a huge THANK YOU to all who attended our event at the Lowestoft Football CLub.

We were not expecting so many people to turn up, but  we estimate approx over 300 vistiors came through the door which was a very pleasant surprise .
The Mediums proved to be very popular and we apologize to anyone who was disappointed if they did not get their reading, We will rectify this at our next Mind Body & Spirit Fayre which we are planning for early July 2009

I lost count how many people came up to me and said what a fantastic atmosphere there was, I put this down to the Lowestoft Football Club (which is a great venue for any event) and the positive attitude of all who were involved in the day and the people who came to visit.

Our Evening of Clairvoyance proved popular which was hosted by our friend Mr Dave Summerton, who is a talented  and entertaining medium .  Again we were surprised by the amount of people who came and supported this event which we estimated at approx 120.

We would like to announce that with both events, we raised just over

£1000 !!!
(gross)

After deductions of small overheads we are able to present  our chosen charities with £800. We have a cheque for £400 to donate to The Beach Radio  for their charity Help an East Coast Child and we are also going to be able to send a large Televison  to Carlton Colville Court, Dementia Ward, which they requested to help their patients.

A Big Thank you to The Beach Radio who helped with promoting this event on their radio. And the Waveney Advertiser who wrote an editorial for us.

We would also like to take this opportunity to Thank all businesses who donated raffle prizes.

And of course last but not least the hard work of the girls  and families of  the Lowestoft Spiritual Centre:-

THE PRESENTATION TO THE CHARITIES

The presentaion day at the Lowestoft Football Club was a satifying end to our  first Mind Body and Spirt Fayre and the Evening of Clairvoyance.
All who were involved in the organizing, advertising and selling tickets prior  to the  event, and those who took part in helping out on the day including  The Lowestoft Football Club the stall holders and Mr Dave Summerton  made it possible to  raise a fantastic amount which enabled us to donate the Television and Cheque to our local chosen charities.

Below is a Photo of the Presentation of a 37" flat screen Television for the Carlton Colville Court Alzheimer's Hospital and a £400 cheque to the Beach Radio for their Help an East Coast Child Charity.
